Daily Uniform Requirements

To ensure our children look smart whilst also ensuring affordability, Heage Primary do not specify where an item needs to be bought. However, we do expect our children to wear the following:

• White shirt/blouse or White/Red Polo T-Shirt 
• Black dark grey/black skirt or pinafore (knee-length) OR black/grey tailored shorts/trousers 
• Red and white checked summer dress (optional for warmer months)
• Red sweatshirt/jumper or cardigan (logo optional)
• Red Fleece (optional for colder months)
• Black/grey/red tights
• Black/grey socks
• Black shoes or boots

PE Kit Requirements

• Black/Navy shorts 
• Black/Navy jogging bottoms
• Plain white T-Shirt
• White/Black socks
• Black PE pumps 
• Trainers
• PE bag with clearly marked name (the PE bag can stay in school)

Forest School (Outdoor Sessions) Requirements

• Wellies
• Old warm clothes (several layers may be needed in the colder months)
• Waterproof coat
• Waterproof trousers (optional)
• All in one waterproof (optional)

You will be informed at the beginning of the academic year when your child will be taking part in these sessions and will only need to send in kit on those weeks. 

Additional Expectations

It is also expected that, alongside the basic uniform requirements, parents/carers will provide their child with appropriate items for the weather, such as; coats, gloves, hats, sun cream, sun hats etc

Nearly New Items 

We appreciate how quickly children grow and the cost that incurs with school uniform. This is why we do not stipulate the uniform has to be from a particular provider. We do ask that the children wear the above uniform, which we know can be purchased from the high street and online stores. 

To support the cost of a uniform, our PTFA sell 'little-used' items of uniform for as little as £1 an item - this can include jumpers/cardigans with logos. You can visit our PTFA page and visit the online shop or, alternatively, we hold a once-a-half-term sale when items can be purchased.
