School Parliament

The School Parliament at Heage Primary School is elected democratically and fairly. Every year, in September, we have an election where lots of our pupils stand for election as either School Parliamentarians or Class Councillors. We also elect Two Year 6 Representatives. This is done through holding assemblies to talk through their manifestos and presentations to each class.

They meet regularly with the School Parliament lead Miss Riggott to discuss ideas suggested from each class and plan for the year ahead.

As we continue to develop our Heage School Parliament, we are excited to start making a difference! Our aim is to help make our school an even better place to learn and ensure everybody's voice is heard in important decisions.

We plan to raise money for school projects and a range of charities and organise events involving both our school and local community.

We’re looking forward to working together, sharing ideas, and helping shape the future of our school.
