We were delighted to welcome a very special visitor to school recently, Private Riggott, who came in to talk to the children about life in the British Army. Having joined the Army two years ago, she visited each class to share her experiences, explain the opportunities the Army can offer, and help the children understand just how challenging but exciting the role can be. She brought along parts of her uniform and equipment for the children to look at and try on, and shared lots of photographs from her time in service. The children were incredibly respectful and engaged, and Private Riggott was amazed by the number of questions they asked. Every class showed huge interest and enthusiasm throughout her visit.
