Moto Service Stations

The school has successfully secured £3500 funding from Moto Service Stations (Trowell).  We will use these funds to develop a scooter track and storage to allow pupils to bring in scooters from home and use them at different times during the day as part of supporting healthy lifestyles.  This is in response to questionnaires that parents filled in as part of our road safety day.  Thank you to all the children who have entered our 'Space Garden' competition that will be part of the scooter park design.  We will keep you updtated

The school library was partly funded by a £5,000 grant from the Foyle Foundation.  This included purchasing new books, a catologue system to scan and take out books and furniture from the London Olympic village!  We are very proud of our new space and classes have a weekly timetabled slot to help develop a 'love for books and reading'.

Raspberry Pi Foundation The school has purchased 10 Raspberry Pi computers to support our 'Pi and Chips' coding club.  £750 was donated from the Pi Foundation, £250 from the PTFA, £250 from the local council and £250 donation from the George Storer Charity.

GAP

Thanks to Mrs Turkington (parent helper) who has been supporting reading in school we have been donated £450.  To further support a 'love of reading' we have invested the money in more books for our school library.
