What to do if your child is sick
Parents are requested to call school before 9.30am, on every day that a child is ill. Messages can be left on the school answer phone.
The school day
8.30am - School gates open. Children should be supervised by a parent or carer until the school bell rings.
8.45am - The bell rings and children begin their early morning tasks in classrooms
8.55am - Lessons start. The school gate is locked. Children arriving after this time should be signed in at the school office, as they will have missed registration. Please come up the school driveway and ring the bell at the top gate.
10.30am - Assembly (except Fridays)
10.45am - Break time
12.00 - 1.00pm - Lunch time
2.00pm approx - KS1 afternoon play. KS2 mile run.
3.00pm - Friday Assembly
3.25pm - Home time (gates open from 3.15pm)
Administering medicines
Staff at school are able to administer prescription medication only. Please complete the form and return to school if your child needs medication during the school day.
