Heage Primary School

All children in year 3 take part in the 'Wider Opportunities' lessons which are provided by Derbyshire Music Partnership.

Junior children have the opportunity to continue to learn the instrument taught in year 3 throughout the rest of the key stage through group and individual lessons.

Keyboard and Guitar lessons are provided each week through the Derbyshire Music Partnership service.

Each class uses a termly trip to enhance and develop the learning in the classroom.

These trips and visits are linked closely to the topics delivered.

We are affiliated to the Amber Valley School Sports Partnership and take part in many of the events offered.

Our Sports Coachs deliver 2 sporting clubs each week which are planned in response to the Amber Valley Partnership events or the interests of the children.
