Early Years Foundation Stage
In EYFS (2019) 57% of children achieved the challenging 'good level of development' compared to 48% six years ago. This is below the national average but represents good progress for this cohort who were well below average on entry. To be judged as reaching this level, children have to reach age related expectations in all 12 areas of the EYFS curriculum.
